Various Helvetia Versicherungen systems today rely on elements of the company’s organizational structure and sales channel organization. Accordingly, over time each system has implemented its own sales structure, which in some cases leads to redundancies and inconsistencies in the stored data and the evaluation of the information.

From this starting point, one of the most important goals was to establish a central sales structure for Helvetia Switzerland. Using a modern web application, the sales structure can now be managed and maintained centrally in one place across all sales channels.

The central allocation and structuring of sales partners help Helvetia to optimize processes, to inherit information, rules and instructions based on structures and to centrally distribute them. Helvetia’s most important peripheral systems such as the central personal and address data system, the central compensation system, the broker database and the data warehouse are already linked to the central administration VSV; others will follow. The main beneficiaries of the new application are Helvetia’s sales partners in addition to the field sales force and broker sales.

The representation of the organizational structure (headquarters, organizational units, job and employee) and sales channel organization (sales channel, region, general agency, team, contact person, role/responsibilities) as neat and easily linkable tree structures serve as a potential aspect for evaluations and allow sales partner data to be aggregated or broken down into fine granularity.

The Enterprise application is designed as a multi-client capable system. Data from different clients can be managed in one database instance, while the program ensures client independence. The application offers bi-temporal historization. Each modification is executed on a processing date and takes effect from a freely selectable effective date. All pending changes can thus be prepared with a great degree of flexibility. All modifications can be viewed and traced at any time.
