Senior User Experience Allrounder (m/f/d)

Karakun develops software. Compared to the number of about 40 software engineers, the UX team is rather small and needs your support. With you in our team, we plan to strengthen and extend the user focus and user experience in our current and upcoming projects. We love self-determined work in a small team that is based on flexibility, spontaneity, and creativity. As a Senior User Experience Allrounder, you act as an expert in user experience design and you are also not afraid of temporarily taking the project lead role, working as a visual designer or user researcher, or helping in software engineering projects.

What you can expect

• You introduce your conceptual skills, your creativity, and your understanding of the methods of user experience design to versatile development projects.
• You support Karakun as well as customer project teams and thus enable them to develop user-friendly software solutions for companies and organizations from different industries.
• You analyze user requirements and develop interaction concepts in coordination with all relevant stakeholders and the development team.
• You verify the usability of your concept using prototypes and coordinate those with all teams.

How to convince us

• You have a university degree or a similar education in UX design, interaction design, or visual communication.
• You already have professional experience in UX design and you are familiar with the latest methodologies. As a plus: You already gained experience as a project lead or as a software engineer.
• You like to transfer complex contexts into easy and user-friendly concepts using state-of-the-art prototyping tools.
• You have convincing communications skills combined with a fine sense for people and like working in interdisciplinary teams.
• You like working customer-oriented and taking responsibility.
• You are fluent in German and English – both in speech and writing.
